Did you know that they are now serving lunch bowls on Monday-Friday from 11am-2pm? I got all 3 bowls which were bulgogi, spicy pork and chicken. It's take out only and they give out some pretty big sizes. The owner here is super nice and told us the background story of why he started offering lunch bowls instead of doing Shabu all day. Lunch bowls are quick, easy and convenient to eat and you can't beat buying real food for $10.95!! That's cheaper than most fast food places. So if you're in the Pasadena area, go pick up your rice bowls for lunch!!

If you're in Pasadena looking for a good shabu shabu restaurant, I recommend trying out O'seyo. Their menu selection has a lot of variety, from appetizers to hand rolls to standard shabu shabu entrees. I dined here this past weekend with a friend, and we had a good experience. Service was great because two waitresses were accommodating us. We chose their promotional special, the Feast for 2 for about $75, where you select an appetizer, two beverages, two shabu shabu broths with two meat entrees, and dessert. The broth and meat quality were good, as well as the vegetables. Even though O'seyo is not an AYCE restaurant, I guarantee that you will feel very full at the end. Parking shouldn't be a big issue because even though the lot nearby is quite small, there is plenty of street parking around.

Finding a good shabu-shabu spot has been challenging, especially with many places closed or offering only takeout. Fortunately, O'seyo has remained open for both takeout and dine-in, exactly what we were looking for. With a few indoor seating options available, we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine welcome. For me, excellent customer service is always a plus, and O'seyo delivered on that front. The shabu-shabu here is fantastic, and we've found ourselves returning regularly, even after the height of COVID. My family loves this place not only for its proximity but also for the consistent friendliness of the staff. We always make sure to thank them for their wonderful service. We usually order the Vintage Prime XL, a perfect choice for our shabu-shabu experience. To maximize our taste buds, we opt for plain water and ginger as our broth base. This simple yet effective combination truly enhances the flavor of the high-quality meats and vegetables. O'seyo has become one of our favorite spots, especially for meeting friends over dinner. The restaurant opens at 5 pm, and if you arrive late, you might find yourself on a waitlist. However, it's definitely worth the wait. Overall, O'seyo is a hidden gem. The combination of delicious shabu-shabu, outstanding customer service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a must-visit. If you're in the area and craving a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend giving O'seyo a try.
